More than 8-5

Before you were ever born, God had a plan for your life. He knew when and where you were going to born. He knew who your parents were going to be. He knew what struggles you would face as you matured into adulthood. But, most importantly, he knew the gifts he put into you that only you would be able to share with the world. When God created you, he gave your life purpose on purpose.

True, many of us were not born as heirs to millions. Many of us weren’t born to famous parents who can help us achieve different things on different levels. Many of us simply have to work hard at a job to make it daily. Yes, I get all of that. But…

Your life was meant for more than just punching a clock. Yes, you have to make a living to provide for you and your family. But, God created you for a lot more than that. Have you asked the creator what is your purpose? What contribution can you make with the little time you have here on earth? How can you make someone else’s life better?

You see, we all have a purpose. Its just that many of us are too afraid to step outside of the box into our purpose. We’re afraid of failing. We’re afraid of what others may think. We’re afraid of jumping.

But the truth of the matter is, God wants you to jump. He wants you to fulfill your purpose. He wants to guide you into living your best life. He wants to bless you so you can be a blessing to others.

So I want to encourage you today, to seek the face of God regarding your purpose. He did not make you a hamster to simply spin on a wheel that is never going anywhere.

If you have a talent, share it with the world. If you are a speaker, ask for opportunities to share your gift. We all of different gifts, but we must be willing to focus on them. You have a purpose far greater than simply going to work everyday from 8-5. Be encouraged!
